Mawta Famine Relief Committee (MFRC) is a Non-Political, Non-Religious, Non-governmental Body and a humanitarian Organization which is doing its best to effectively response to the deadly Mawta Famine in most effected 324 and more Villages in the remote Chin Hill Tracks of Burma.
Mawta Famine Relief Committee is committed to work efficiently in distributing the relief Aids and also to make sure that the sympathisers and donors across the world can directly donate to the worst effected people who are languishing in the most remote part of Western Burma.
Mawta Famine Relief Committee is strongly enganged not to let the suffering villages left hehind and the MFRC is fully responsible for its TRANSPARENCY between the DONORS and the RECIEPIENTS.

The website: Mawta.org is the official website of Mawta Famine Relief Committee (MFRC). The committee was formed in response to the Mawta Famine that has swept Chin state in Western Myanmar (bordering Mizoram and Manipur states of India) due to an extra-ordinary phenomenon called Mawta also known as Mautam, Mautaam, etc.

Mawta Famine Relief Committee has the 12 Famine Relief Operating Areas, Each Area holds 27 Villages and Each Area has a Supervisor who is directly appointed by Village Mawta Famine Relief Board (VMFRB).

MFRC has formed the Village Mawta Relief Board (VMRB) in each and every village in the 12 Areas, in order to operate the Relief work effectively.
Each Village Mawta Relief Board has the following members:
1. The Chairman of Village Mawtah Famine Relief Board
2. The Secrectary of Village Mawta Famine Relief Board
3. The Four Members of Village Mawta Famine Relief Board
4. The Three Auditors of Village Mawta Famine Relief Board
5. The Three Supervisors of Village Mawta Famine Relief Board
Note: Each and Every Village Mawta Famine Reief Board has the 12 members in total who work hand in hand with the Mawta Famine Relief Committee.
